December Nights @ Balboa Park – December 2 2022 – December 3 2022
The City of San Diego’s largest free holiday festival in beautiful Balboa Park. The family friendly event brings San Diegans together to enjoy the lights, the sounds, the attractions and of course, the amazing food.
La Jolla Christmas Parade Christmas and Holiday Festival – December 4 2022
The parade starts at 1:30 pm. Join in the outdoor fun in downtown la Jolla at Kline & Gerard. After the parade is a festival with crafts, games, fun and food, and of course photos with Santa at the Rec Center. The tree lighting begins at 5:30.
San Diego Santa Run – December 10 2022
Enjoy a fun filled holiday 5K on December 10th! There is also a Kid’s 1 mile and a Dog 1 mile as well as a parade! More information is available on the website!
Port of San Diego Bay Parade of Lights – December 11 & 18 2022
The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a time-honored holiday tradition brought to San Diego by the boating community. The 52nd annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights promises to dazzle and entertain bayfront crowds during 2 evenings on December 11 and December 18, 2022.
San Diego Holiday Half Marathon – December 17 2022
The San Diego Holiday Half Marathon is a fast 13.1-mile course that starts on Penasquitos Drive then travels SW along Carmel Mountain Rd , along the 56 bike path and finishes at the beautiful Torrey Pines State Beach. The race includes a 711-foot net elevation drop along the “rolling” downhill bike path, which also makes it a personal best candidate. This popular winter half has been a sell-out event every year. Get your end-of-the-year PR!!
